Apart from information provided by Google Map, For directions to the conference venue from Kyoto station or your hotel to the venue, we recommend you to refer to this access guide
<https://www.kyoto-u.ac.jp/en/access/main-campus-map
from Kyoto University (see section “Getting to the Campus”).

The clock tower, where the morning sessions are held, is Building 3 on the map. If you come by taxi, please let the driver know that you want to go to “Kyoto University, Yoshida campus, clock tower”.

For the welcome reception, the closest bus stop is “Gion” which is served, among others, by bus 206 from Kyoto station. From there it is just a 2 minute walk.

Hotels

There are numerous hotel options in Kyoto from which the campus is well accessible. We do not have designated conference hotels or special discounts, we encourage you to book accommodations early. Although early July is not Kyoto’s peak tourist season, the city is generally busy, and this year’s EXPO in nearby Osaka may increase demand for hotel rooms further. We recommend using common booking platforms.
